Mi actual travesía artística gira en torno a la profunda exploración de la energía, un concepto arraigado en las antiguas tradiciones metafísicas chinas. Estas creencias milenarias arrojan luz sobre la intrincada interconexión de nuestro universo, ofreciendo fascinantes conocimientos sobre nuestra existencia.
Incorporando la sabiduría de la metafísica china, mi trabajo se adentra en el estudio holístico de la energía. Me dedico a utilizar el arte como un conducto para investigar la conexión cósmica que une nuestro universo, planetas, estrellas y la raza humana, una parte integral de este gran tapiz.
Dentro de esta búsqueda incansable, he emprendido una aventura multidisciplinaria, empleando la pintura, la escultura y el arte digital para dar vida al retrato de la Energía. Comenzando con la escultura, busqué capturar la esencia de la energía en una forma tangible, inspirándome en los antiguos principios chinos. Finalmente, descubrí un marco para atribuir estos aspectos, lo que me permitió continuar mi exploración sobre cómo la energía se cruza con y anima nuestro mundo. Se entrelaza en el tejido de la existencia, comunicándose, creando y conectando el universo con todos sus componentes. Cada lugar, único y cautivador, se convierte en un retrato del espacio que habita.
Mi objetivo final es comprender de qué manera, como seres humanos, podemos adquirir una profunda conciencia de esta energía omnipresente y compartir esta comprensión para fomentar la conciencia social. Al hacerlo, arrojamos luz sobre cómo este fenómeno puede moldear directa o indirectamente nuestras vidas. Esta búsqueda se inspira en la sabiduría atemporal de la metafísica china, ofreciendo conocimientos reales y profundos sobre las energías que moldean nuestro mundo.

Nacida en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en 1995, Cloe Galasso creció en un entorno artístico que encendió su pasión por las expresiones visuales y corporales.
A los 21 años, obtuvo un MDes de la Universidad de Palermo. Autodidacta, se sumergió en diversas disciplinas, desde cerámica hasta fotografía, escultura y arte contemporáneo, decidida a desafiar las disparidades de género en el mundo del arte. En 2020, la pandemia la llevó a descubrir la pintura al óleo, que pronto se convirtió en su medio preferido.
En 2021, realizó su primera exposición individual en Buenos Aires, seguida de mentorías en Nueva York con artistas reconocidos, lo que culminó en varias exposiciones emergentes. Más tarde ese mismo año, completó una residencia artística en Southampton, Nueva York, con Eugenio Cuttica.
En 2022, exhibió su trabajo en exposiciones individuales en Buenos Aires y Nueva York, y participó en exposiciones grupales en Brooklyn y la ciudad de Nueva York. Su arte se destacó internacionalmente, en la Galleria Antonio Battaglia de Milán y en Londres, en el The Art Pavillion.
En 2023, su viaje continuó con una exposición individual en el Consulado de Argentina en la Ciudad de Nueva York, en el marco del Mes Internacional de la Mujer. También participó en varias exposiciones grupales en prestigiosas galerías como Galería Azur Nueva York, One Art Space (organizado por UP Magazine), MM Art Gallery en Southampton, Nueva York, y más. El repertorio artístico de Cloe se expandió con su primera exposición escultórica en solitario en Dumbo, Brooklyn. En septiembre, tuvo el honor de representar a Argentina en la Exposición del Mes de la Herencia Hispana organizada por Nahualli Art Gallery en el World Trade Center. Ese mismo mes, su obra se exhibió en la Galería Azur de Madrid, marcando otro paso significativo en su carrera artística.
STATEMENT
My current artistic journey revolves around the profound exploration of energy, a concept deeply rooted in the ancient Chinese metaphysical traditions. These age-old beliefs shed light on the intricate interconnectedness of our universe, offering fascinating insights into our existence.
Incorporating the wisdom of Chinese metaphysics, my work delves into the holistic study of energy. I am committed to using art as a conduit to investigate the cosmic connection that binds our universe, planets, stars, and the human race – an integral part of this grand tapestry.
Within this relentless pursuit, I've embarked on a multidisciplinary adventure, employing painting, sculpture, and digital art to bring the portrait of Energy to life. Beginning with sculpture, I sought to capture the essence of energy in tangible form, drawing inspiration from ancient Chinese principles. Ultimately, I uncovered a framework to attribute these facets, enabling me to continue my exploration of how energy intersects with and enlivens our world. It weaves itself into the fabric of existence, communicating, creating, and connecting the universe with all its constituents. Each place, unique and enthralling, becomes a portrait of the space it inhabits.
My ultimate objective is to grasp how we, as humans, can attain a profound awareness of this omnipresent energy and share this understanding to foster social consciousness. By doing so, we shed light on how this phenomenon can directly or indirectly shape our lives. This quest is inspired by the timeless wisdom of Chinese metaphysics, offering real and profound insights into the energies that shape our world.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1995, Cloe Galasso was raised in an artistic household, igniting her passion for visual and corporeal expressions.
At 21, she earned an MDes from the University of Palermo. Self-taught, she delved into various disciplines, from ceramics to photography, sculpture, and contemporary art, determined to challenge gender disparities in the art world. In 2020, the pandemic led her to discover oil painting, which soon became her preferred medium.
In 2021, she held her first solo exhibition in Buenos Aires, followed by mentorships in New York with renowned artists Maurizio Pellegrin, Kathryn Cameron, Eric Michelson and Taka Maruno. She also participated in various pop-up exhibitions. Later in the same year, she completed an artistic residency in Southampton, NY, with Eugenio Cuttica.
In 2022, she showcased her work in solo exhibitions in Buenos Aires and New York and participated in group shows in Brooklyn and NYC. Her art was featured internationally, in Milan at Galleria Antonio Battaglia and London: The Art Pavilion of the High End.
In 2023, her journey continued as she held a solo exhibition at the Consulate of Argentina in New York City in the frame of the international woman’s month. She also participated in various group exhibitions in esteemed galleries like Galeria Azur New York, One Art Space (organized by UP Magazine), MM Art Gallery in Southampton, NY, and more. Cloe's artistic repertoire expanded with her first sculptural solo exhibition in Dumbo, Brooklyn. In September, she had the honor of representing Argentina at the Hispanic Heritage Exhibition hosted by Nahualli Art Gallery in the World Trade Center. That same month, her work was portrayed at Galeria Azur Madrid, marking another significant step in her artistic career.
